Hammid's afghan hounds are not just another pretty dog. They complete conformation titles,
they complete obediance titles, they work hard (they can herd sheep), and they play hard (they compete in flyball and agility).
Our afghan hounds are smart! "Neo" from White Plains, New York won $10,000.00 on America's
Funniest Videos in 2006. Here is a link to a video of "Neo".

2012 Achievements:
Ch. Rhiannonrest Haiku ("Hector) completed his Canadian Championship in Saskatoon, Sk on
September 1st, 2012.
2010 Achievements:
Ch. Hammid's Chuck It To Me Finn ("Finn") has finished his Canadian Championship in one weekend
at the Yorkton dog show August 2010. "Finn" also achieved 2 Best Puppy In Groups at the Yorkton show.
Rhiannonrest Haiku ("Hector") received 2 points at the Yorkton dog show in August 2010 and
now has a total of 9 points towards his Canadian Championship.
Hammid's Why So Serious ("Ledger") achieved 5 points towards his Canadian Championship and
1 Best Puppy in Group at the Saskatoon dog show September 2010.
Ch. Kistehsias Grand Tryst ("Latifah") finished her Canadian Championship and achieved
2 Best Puppy In Groups at the Saskatoon dog show September 2010. Latifah received her first 3 points towards her Canadian
Championship at the Saskatoon show May 2010.
Hammid's Ardeth at Kistehsia (aka "Leonard" or "Majia") received 2 points towards his Canadian
Championship at the Saskatoon dog show September 2010.
Ameliata Rose of Rhiannonsrest ("Rosie") has received 2 points towards her Canadian Championship
at the Saskatoon dog show May 2010.

Ch. Hammid's The Empire Strikes Back finished his championship in February 2009 at the Calgary
Dog Show.
Ch. Hammid's Chamki Setara finished her championship in March 2009 at the Red Deer Dog Show.
Hammid's Ricochet finished her championship in October 2009 at the Camrose Dog Show.
Ch. Hammid's Odessi Sedona Sunrise has multiple Best of Breeds at the Saskatoon Show May 1st
and 3rd, 2009, and has finished her Canadian Championship at the Swift Current dog show July 2009.
Ch. Hammid's Sunshine N' Stardust C.G.N.,P.C.D.,H.I.C.,F.D.Ch. obtained a qualifying score for the
first leg of her R.N. (Rally Novice).
Nola earned her Flyball Dog Championship in May 2009. Nola also earned two qualifying
scores toward her CARO Rally Novice title in October 2009.
Ch. Hammid's Shaherazad Shamalan has finished her Canadian championship July 2009 at the
Swift Current dog show.
Hammid's Fatal Attraction has received 6 points towards his Canadian championship at the Swift
Current dog show July 2009.
Hammid's Phat Free has received 6 points towards her Canadian championship at the Swift Current
dog show July 2009.
Hammid's Shaherazad Falco (bred by my daughter Amanda Middleton) has recieved 2 points
at the Swift Current dog show July 2009, for a total of 4 points towards his Canadian championship.
Hammid's Ingenious Doubletake (Sara) has recieved 3 points (Best of Winners) at the Saskatoon
dog show September 2009, for a total of 3 points towards her Canadian Championship.

The Swift Current Dog Show in July 2008 was a fun event. There was alot of fun times for all the members
of our "pack."
Linda with Ch. Hammid's Azizah, Crystal with Hammid's Promises Promises(currently has 2 points), and Ronda
with Hammid's Vanity Hare (aka "Fire"). Kalie is with Ch. What A Weasel (aka "Shania"), also affectionately known as
"Weasel." Samantha with Ch. Serious Business (aka "Indi") and Hammid's Odessi Sedona Sunrise (aka "Odessi," currently
has 4 points).
In the front row Serina has Ch. Hammid's Pasha (aka "Skylar"). Boomerang Bling (aka "Bling," currently
has 6 points) and Ch. Hammid Sunshine n Stardust CGN, HCC (aka "Nola") are laying side by side in the middle of the picture.
Hammid's Chamki Setara (aka "Tara") currently has 8 points and is laying in the front row to the left of Anna-murie.

The spotlight page is reserved for dogs from our kennel that are accomplishing some terrific achievements.
Some of these dogs are competing in the conformation show ring, some in obedience but more importantly some are receiving
"Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) Certifications." Two afghan hounds are competing in herding sheep. "Nola"
has passed certification to enter herding trials and will compete in this capacity in the fall of 2007. She is the first
afghan hound in Canada to actually compete in this capacity.
