My name is Ronda Hamilton and I founded Hammid Perm.
Reg'd Kennels more than 30 years ago. Not long after receiving my registered kennel name "Hammid" I
was given permanent registration due to the completion of 10 Canadian Champions. These championships consisted of Afghan
Hounds from my first two litters. There were many Champions to follow over the next many years in addition
to Companion Dog titles(CD) in obedience, lure coursing titles(F.Ch.) and temperment titles(T.T.). Two afghan
hounds from our kennel are competing in herding competitions. Over time I have become very active in the dog business. Trent
Hamblin and I own and operate Kanine Klipping (an All Breed Dog and Cat Grooming Salon), a Provincally Recognised
Private Vocational Dog Grooming school and a Pet Cremation business. All our dogs are registered with the Canadian
Kennel Club where I am a lifetime member (having had 30 years or more of continous membership) and Trent has been
a member for 15 years.
My belief is to breed a happy, healthly puppy that
is naturally weaned and well socialized with other dogs and people. This will give a well adjusted dog that can co-exist
in a family home or in the show ring with little or no stress on the owner or dog.
